Every road that I've been down,
the only thing that I have found,
there's only one thing I can't live without..

Take Me Out to the Ballgame - Rough Rider's Style

We took Riley to the baseball game in Frisco the other night. It was a long, long night, but it was a ton of fun. Shad was excited to see Steve Bueschele coaching from third base. When a poor girl in the stands was hit by a flying bat, Coach Bueschele immediately signed a baseball and threw it up to her and checked on her. Shad thought he was willing to get hit by a bat to get an autograph, but nothing came his way...

Riley got an autograph... too bad we have no clue who the kid is, but he did pitch a couple of innings. I told Riley, you never know, he might become a Ranger someday...
The hot dogs weren't bad.. and neither were our seats. We just had to keep an eye out for foul balls.

We played some games to help us stay entertained. Its hard for a 3 year old to sit through an entire baseball game...

We did get our picture taken with Daisy. Doesn't Shad look so happy to meet her!!!
It was a good game. We definitely got our money's worth considering it took 15 innings!!!!!
The guy running around trying to keep the crowd hyped up stopped by to make sure Riley was still awake...

Towards the end we put on our rally caps and help the Riders pull off the 3-2 victory in the 15th inning!!!
Riley said next time we should rent out the swimming pool that's in right field... guess he'll have to ask Poppy for that one!!!!!

Eat your heart out Blake Griffin!!!

PeeWee Basketball Camp

So, one of the perks of being the basketball coach's son is getting to go to camp even if you are not technically old enough according to the form. So, Dad let me play in the PeeWee division. Its made up of incoming K-2nd graders.

First Coach Jordan taught me how to play defense...
Then he taught me how to "Post Up" like a Big Man!

 Not bad...
Then I listened to some inspiring words from Coach Travis...
Of course, its never too early to get Kolden started, so Dad got him a ball....

Coach Troy taught me how to pass...

Then it was time to line up for dribbling relays...
and I'm off...

Of course Kolden had to take time out to eat...
Then Coach Cory taught me how to zig zag dribble between all of the chairs...

It was really hard, but I got the hang of it...
So does it mean that I'm a real Blue Chip if Coach Colby ties my shoes for me???
Dad and I have been working on my form at home...
It really seems to be paying off...

 Check out that follow through!!!
Not too bad considering I'm only three!!!! Watch out Blake Griffin... HERE I COME!!!!
